Paint Correction
Paint correction in its simplest terms is exactly what it says it is - correcting the paint on a vehicle.
It is the process carried out that removes defects from the top layer of the paint (the clearcoat, what gives your paint the glossy shine), and usually uses a multiple step "sanding and buffing" process with the relevant materials and compounds to remove microscopic amounts of the top layer, without breaking through to the layer of paint that gives your vehicle its colour (the basecoat), whilst keeping the shine and even improving it!
Scratches that have not broken the top surface, holograms, swirl marks, oxidisation and even bird dropping etching can all be removed using different paint correction techniques. Poor reworks such as sanding marks and overspray from previous repairs can also be removed, leaving your paint finish smooth and glossy - just as the manufacturer intended it.
Any defects that have unfortunately broken the clearcoat are usually unrepairable to our standards, and would require the affected panel to be resprayed. Have a look at the paint correction services we offer below, along with a description of what it involves, and what defects they are used to remedy.

Single Stage Machine Polishing
A single stage machine polish is the most basic level of paint correction we offer. It is used to rectify the most minor of surface paint defects, or simply to improve the gloss of the paint. There is no cutting involved in this process, so bare in mind any defects deeper than a few microns into the clearcoat will not be rectified by this, and a multiple stage machine polish will be required instead.

Multi Stage Machine Polishing
A multi stage machine polish is a more comprehensive solution to resolve deeper defects in the clearcoat of a vehicles paintwork. Depending on the severity of the issue, the paintwork is cut at least once using a sanding pad, and once again with either a cutting compound or finishing compound. Depending on how deep the defect is in the paintwork depends on the amount of times it is required to be cut back and polished off.

Paint Chip Repairs
Paint chip repairs involve filling the chip crevasse with a colour matched basecoat, resealing with clearcoat and then flatting (sanding) and polishing to the same thickness of paint to the surrounding area. Depending on the severity of the chip deems the level of repair, and if it can even be repaired in the first place. Any chips that cannot be reworked to our high standards can either be left alone or repaired in the form of a respray.

Resprays
Again, exactly what the description says it is - a respray. The paintwork is stripped back to bare metal, prepped, primed and painted to our process that has been developed using tried and tested knowledge and experience of world leading paint application in both; OEM production and aftermarket facilities. Whether you need a single panel repair, all the way up to whole vehicle, we only deliver the best quality.
